Although not a professional photographer I have a true passion for underwater photography and have put my hand to it at every opportunity. Since learning to scuba dive in 2005 with my partner Helen, I've dedicated my life to the sport and qualified as a PADI Divemaster back in June 2007. This gave me a greater freedom and knowledge base to explore this magical world taking me to greater depths and more exciting dive sites where recreational divers may not normally discover. During this time I have won underwater photography competitions and sold prints, these achievements have helped to inspire me to take my passion to the next level and for fill my dreams of becoming a professional underwater photographer.

Photographing the underwater water world has additional challenges to that of above ground photography, we have strange lighting to overcome, sometimes strong currents, creatures that move in all dimensions, we generally can't use a tripod and most importantly we have a beautiful & delicate environment around us to consider before taking any shots. The results however can be outstanding. Nothing on earth comes close to the beauty and diversity of the underwater world and to capture this through the lens, is to me, one of the most rewarding things this life can offer. It is for this reason I've built this website, to share with you this magical world that means so much to me and for you to use as a resource of information.
